to bless your soul.Reverend Milton Lorenzo Turner, a native of Birmingham Alabama,
has been entrenched in the “Gospel” for as long as he can remember. Raised in a
Christian home where spiritual and academic excellence went hand in hand, there was
never a time when the word of God was not stressed. He began playing the piano at an
early age and continued with this study throughout high school, college and seminary.
Often called “Mr. Energy”, Rev. Turner has ministered in revivals and workshops all
across the contiguous United States, Africa and as far as Korea. Rev. Turner has
published over fifty musical compositions and produced over twenty full length albums
or Compact Discs. He is the owner of the GIA Music Group who produces and
manages artist, Donald Watkins, Pamela Rankins, and Bishop Steven Kelsey. For many
years he traveled the country as accompanist with such gospel greatest as Evangelist
Esther Smith, and the late Rev. Donald Vails. Rev. Turner has ministered in workshops
and concerts with Rev. Timothy Wright, Donald Watkins and Minister Jeffrey La Valley
to name a few. His compositions ‘To Know Him”, “Deliverance”, ‘Cover Me” and “Have
Your Way In Me” , have all been recently recorded by various artist.
A graduate of Holy Family Catholic High School, Miles College and AOH Seminary all in
Birmingham, Rev. Turner was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the
Mount Hebron Baptist Church, and Ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the Apostolic
Overcoming Holiness Denomination. He has served as Pastor to congregations in both
Florida and Kentucky. Rev. Turner is currently a member of the Saint Paul Church in
Capitol Heights, and Friendly Maryland, which are suburban areas of Washington DC.
There he serves on the Ministerial and Musical staff.
